SuKRa Award 2025 Honors Bhutanese Musical Talents in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Harrisburg, PA | November 8, 2025 — The Literature Council of Bhutan (LCOB) proudly presented the SuKRa Award 2025 during its annual conference held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, celebrating excellence in Bhutanese music and creativity.
This year’s award, named after Sumitra, Kala, and Raju (SuKRa), recognized three outstanding contributors to Bhutanese music: Amber Tumbapo (Music Composer), Govinda Humagain (Lyricist), and Chhabi Neopane (Singer).
The honorees were applauded for their artistic excellence and dedication to promoting Bhutanese and Nepali music within the diaspora. Their collaborative work continues to inspire cultural pride and unity through the power of music. 🎶🇧🇹🇳🇵
The program was organized by the Literature Council of Bhutan (LCOB) and attended by community leaders, artists, and well-wishers from across the United States.
