Bhutanese Community of Lexington Hosts a Successful Community Event
Lexington, Kentucky – The Bhutanese Community of Lexington, Kentucky (BCLK) successfully organized a vibrant and heartwarming community program that brought together families, friends, and supporters from across the Bluegrass region. The event celebrated unity, cultural pride, and the spirit of giving back — hallmarks of the Bhutanese diaspora community.
The organizing team expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the program a grand success. They extended special thanks to their dedicated team members, volunteers, community supporters, and generous donors, whose unwavering support made the celebration possible.
Special acknowledgment was given to Healthy Adult Day Healthcare, as well as local grocery stores and businesses including Ghalley Brothers, Nepmart, Royal Mart, Magar Grocery, Realtor Bishnu Bastola, Prakash Acharya, Lex Farm, and Loan Officer Ram Mishra, for their kind contributions and community spirit.
The organizers also thanked photographer Sandip Shrestha for beautifully capturing the highlights of the event, along with all invited guests, guest artists, and participants for their enthusiastic involvement. Among the performers, LexDojo Karate earned special praise for their disciplined and energetic presentation.
“This event reflects who we are — a strong, united, and caring community that always comes together to celebrate culture, compassion, and togetherness,” said a representative from BCLK.
The Bhutanese Community of Lexington, Kentucky (BCLK), a non-profit organization established in 2010, continues to work tirelessly for the betterment and empowerment of Bhutanese individuals and families in the Bluegrass region.
