GBLO Collaboration Brings Emotional Literary Evening to Harrisburg

Harrisburg Pennsylvania-A special patriotic literary event was successfully held yesterday Saturday in Harrisburg as part of the ongoing literary and poetic presentation series titled “From Heart to Heart”, organized by our community’s poets and creators in collaboration with GBLO.

The program took place at the hall of Atlantic Finance Service. Based on the emotional theme “In Search of a Nation”, the event featured 19 poets who presented powerful and heartfelt patriotic poems. Their poetry reflected deep love for the motherland, the pain of displacement, the search for identity, and strong expressions of national dignity and pride.

The program ran from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The exceptional performances of the participating poets filled the hall with a resonating sense of patriotism and emotion.

On this occasion, renowned literary figure Patlo Antare remarked, “Poetry is not only read and heard, but also performed and contemplated.” According to him, such programs help connect poetry beyond words — linking it to emotion and lived experience.

The event was also broadcast live through GBLO’s Facebook page, allowing audiences outside Harrisburg to participate virtually.

The organizers stated that the primary goal of such literary initiatives is to preserve and promote Nepali language, literature, and patriotic spirit within the diaspora community. The program held in Harrisburg became an inspiring and memorable event for the Nepali community.

“From Heart to Heart” is a collaborative literary and poetic presentation series conducted by our community’s poets and creators in partnership with GBLO. Centered on themes of love, relationships, human sensitivity, and social issues, the program has been organized in various locations and has played a significant role in connecting the Nepali language, literature, and musical culture in the diaspora.

The conceptualizer of “From Heart to Heart” is Chairperson Patlo Antare.
