OAG Charges Rapper Cutie in Paro Stabbing Case

𝗢𝗔𝗚 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲
Bhutan’s Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has charged rapper Dorji Ganzin, known as Cutie (21), and Kelden Dorji (20) with attempted voluntary manslaughter following a knife attack in Paro on December 7.
The incident reportedly started at Insomnia Club and escalated outside. The 25-year-old victim, Tashi Tshering, suffered multiple stab wounds and severe injuries, undergoing a 13-hour surgery. He has also been charged with assault, along with another suspect, indicating counter-allegations.
Eight others face charges including battery and aiding the crime. The offense carries a penalty of 5–9 years in prison under Bhutan’s Penal Code.
The case gained widespread attention after videos circulated on TikTok.
