Royal Bhutan Police Highlights Global Security Dialogue at 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly
Marrakech, Morocco — November 24, 2025
The 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly officially commenced today in Marrakech, Morocco, bringing together senior representatives from all 196 member countries, including Bhutan. The Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) shared the update, emphasizing the event’s importance for global security cooperation.
Held from 24–27 November 2025, the Assembly is taking place under the theme “Connecting the World for a Safer Future.” Global delegates are engaging in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening cross-border collaboration to combat major threats such as:
Cybercrime and online fraud
International terrorism
Transnational organized crime networks
Scam-centre dismantling and digital safety
Key agenda points include enhancing global policing capabilities, promoting women’s leadership in policing, reviewing progress of the Silver Notice pilot project, and encouraging countries to ratify the UN Convention Against Cybercrime.
