Hawk Mountain, PA — A group of Bhutanese-American residents kick-started their Saturday with a refreshing early-morning hike at Hawk Mountain, continuing their growing tradition of weekly fitness and fellowship. The team began their trek at 7:00 AM and successfully completed the route, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and peaceful atmosphere the mountain is known for.
This week’s group included Dr. Khem Adhikari, Dr. Bhuwan Gautam, community leaders Bhagirath Khatiwoda and Bishow Chhetei, Nil Hari Bhandari along with several other enthusiastic participants from the community. Their consistent effort reflects a strong commitment to staying active, building friendship, and promoting healthy lifestyles among Bhutanese-American families in Pennsylvania.
Organizers shared that these Saturday morning hikes not only help maintain physical fitness but also provide mental refreshment and community bonding. The trail’s panoramic views, calm surroundings, and natural beauty added extra motivation for the hikers today.
