The Royal Government of Bhutan has declared November 12, 13, and 14 as National Holidays to celebrate His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s 70th Birth Anniversary and the Kalachakra Empowerment during the Global Peace Prayer Festival at Changlimithang.
This sacred event is a special opportunity for everyone to join in prayers and reflection for His Majesty’s long life and world peace.
The program will be broadcast live on TV and online so people across Bhutan and abroad can take part.
Essential services will remain open during the holidays.
