PM Tshering Tobgay Extends Congratulations to BNP and Tarique Rahman

Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, through his personal Facebook account, congratulated Tarique Rahman and the BNP on their victory in the general elections of Bangladesh.

He said the resounding mandate reflects the confidence of the Bangladeshi people in their leadership and expressed hope that the outcome would usher in a new chapter of peace and progress.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his optimism about further strengthening the friendly ties and cooperation between Bhutan and Bangladesh.
